A primeira edição do GFNY Portugal foi um sucesso! A Marina de Cascais recebeu este grande evento e comemorou os primeiros campeões, com grande participação de público.
A segunda edição já tem data marcada: dia 8 de setembro de 2019! Preparem-se, inscrevam-se e participem desta maratona. Sejam campeões e superem seus desafios.
O GFNY Portugal terá largada em Cascais e passará por regiões importantes como Estoril, Sintra, Malveira, Mafra, Ericeira, entre outras, pegando parte de belas cidades, praias e serras. Os percursos serão de 162km e 82km.
Categorias percurso 162km: geral (masculino e feminino), por idade, por equipe, Ele+Ela. Premia principais atletas por categorias e disponibiliza tempos. O percurso de 82km é uma prova não competitiva, mas que também disponibiliza resultado de tempos.
Características da prova:
- Uma maratona aberta à amadores e profissionais;
- Percurso com ruas fechadas ao tráfego;
- Kit com camisola oficial, numerais e brindes;
- Tempo cronometrado da largada até a meta para todos os participantes;
- Cerimônia de premiação;
- Todos os atletas recebem medalha de participação ao final da prova;
- Os campeões sobem ao pódio e recebem troféus;
- Refeição aos participantes após a prova;
- Cobertura por mídia especializada, local e mundial;
- Acesso à Bike Expo - feira de exposição e venda de produtos.
Suporte da prova:
- Pontos de apoio com alimentação e hidratação ao longo do percurso;
- Batedores e policiais acompanham o pelotão de atletas garantindo segurança dos mesmos;
- Suporte médico;
- Suporte mecanico.

GFNY Portugal will start in Cascais and will pass through important regions such as Estoril, Sintra, Malveira, Mafra, among others, taking part in beautiful cities, beaches and mountains. The courses will be 162km and 82km.
Categories 162km course: general (male and female), by age, by team, He + She. Rewards top athletes by categories and makes times available. The 82km course is a non-competitive event, but it also offers time results.
Characteristics of the race:
- A marathon open to amateurs and professionals;
- Route with streets closed or parcial closed to traffic;
- Kit with official jersey, numerals and gifts;
- Timed time from start to finish for all participants;
- Awards' ceremony;
- All athletes receive participation medals at the end of the race;
- The champions climb on the podium and receive trophies;
- Meal to the participants after the race;
- Coverage by specialized media local and worldwide;
- Access to Bike Expo - fair of exhibition and sale of products.
